Trendy Entertainment sort of let the cat out of the bag in regards to the release date of Dungeon Defenders: First Wave. While nothing is a specific date, over in the forums on the Dungeon Defenders site, they did mention a release time of around a week or so before it lands on the Android Market.
You think all the iOS players are having fun with pre-release giveaway copies from Trendy Entertainment and that we will miss out on the same thing? Well the fine folks over at Trendy do have things planned for the Android release, none of which we can tell you about. Suggestion though... keep your eyes peeled for the Android version in the very near future.
If you, for whatever reason, haven't heard of Dungeon Defenders: First Wave, it is an action-RPG/Tower Defense multiplayer game that was developed using Unreal Engine 3 (even though its not 'officially' supported yet). At first it was thought only Tegra 2 devices would be able to run it but thanks to some tricks from Trendy, Android devices that don't have dual-core chips will also be able to play it.
You can thank our new staff member William Smith for spying this little bit of awesome info.
