Now comes the time to start this years first of two AGC tournaments. This will be an endurance tournament using a points format. Over the course of the next 5 days, all participants, and there is a ton of you, will be battling it out for the Top 5 spots and of course a ton of prizes!
For a complete list of prizes, please see today's earlier post which lists all the prizes! To go over the details of this AGC tournament in case you missed them in our previous post today:
Contestants will be playing one game this AGC over the course of 5 days. Each day scores will be reset and players in the Top 5 spots will earn points: 1st = 5pts, 2nd = 4pts, 3rd = 3pts, 4th = 2pts, and 5th = 1pt. At the end of the five days, the players with the top five points will be our winners. In the event of any ties, those players will duke it out in one round sudden death that will last 24 hours as well. The top score from the sudden death round will claim the spot being tied for while the other player will get the spot below.
So what's the game you will be playing? An endless, hard version of OrangePixel's game Super Drill Panic. This is a special AGC Edition of the game in Arcade mode which has no ending until you die. You will need an OpenFeint account but I'm guessing if you are in this tournament, you already have one. If not, just quickly register for one in-game. Also as a nice little treat and a bit of humor, you will be playing as the Android mascot running away for a giant gray apple.
The game is available right now on the Android Market so don't waste any time and go get it! It will remain on the market until tomorrow morning at 9am PST. After that it will be taken down to avoid a ton of people grabbing it who are not apart of the tournament.
