This Acer prototype tablet just keeps popping up everywhere it seems at CES regardless of what booth we go to. Don't get me wrong, I love playing with it, especially when it concerns 3D games. Snooping around the Verizon booth we spotted it again and once taking a closer look at it, we spotted the Asphalt 6 icon.
This is of course the upcoming Gameloft 3D racing game which should be available shortly considering the one we played was pretty much a complete game from what we experienced. The game looks pretty slick and plays just as good on that Acer dual-core Tegra 2 Android tablet prototype.
Asphalt 6 is pretty much what you think it would be, that great racing game you played back in Asphalt 5 along with the great graphics. Gameloft did add new stuff to it though like when you crash, it does it in slow motion with a motion blur on it which gives it a great effect. Check out the video for the actual gameplay. No word on whether this is strictly a Tegra 2 game just yet and whether or not it will cost more if it is.
