Mad Catz is known for making some of the funkiest looking gaming peripherals known to mankind, with half of them looking like they belong in a Transformers movie. Well the company s expanding their business model and getting into not only the mobile gaming scene but the wireless gaming scene as well in regards to SmartTVs.
Mad Catz has developed a R.A.T.M mouse, F.R.E.Q.M headset, M.O.U.S.9 wireless mouse, and C.T.R.L.R wireless gamepad all of which can connect through Bluetooth, USB or those funky wireless dongles.

A quick rundown of each device goes something like this, the R.A.T.M and M.O.U.S.9 mice are compact versions of the companies rather popular R.A.T.7 and R.A.T.9 gaming mice for PC. While note as customizable as their PC brethren, both allow you to customize the ergonomic grips and weight systems to your liking. The R.A.T.M mouse also has a palm rest, 10 programmable buttons, and a twin-eye 6400 DPI sensor. Also, according to Mad Catz, both mice boost a year's battery life each.

The Mad Catz C.T.R.L.R. is a wireless unit based off of their MLG Pro Circuit Controller. It comes with everything you would expect the full-sized controller to come with, just in a smaller version. The F.R.E.Q.M headset is their compact folding headset for gamers to use.

While pumping out gear is always nice, developers need to be supported as well and Mad Catz has also released a kit for developers to download to help make their games compatible with all of these new gaming peripherals and apparently they are already working with mobile game developers to bring a few titles to light that supports these units.
We will be checking these out in the next couple of days as well so stay tuned.
