So it seems Samsung may very well be releasing Android first 'mini' phone. The Samsung S5830, as it is dubbed, features an interesting silver/gray siding to it while the back is a nice glossy black, similar to the Nexus S. Judging from the photos it only has one rear facing camera and overall looks like a mini Nexus S with silver accents.
Interestingly enough, this matches the description of a recent FCC filing by Samsung found by Engadget for another Nexus S looking phone which people are rumoring to be running Android 2.4, however, the device ID is different. This is the S5830 while the FCC filing's ID is GT-i9023.
Known Specs:
No word on what processor this will run, memory or anything else of that nature just yet. It is said that this Android mini device from Samsung will be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress in February 2011. If this is true, we should end up getting a lot more leaks of this device soon. As with all leaks, take it with a grain of salt.
Thanks to le3ky for the tip!
