It's all over the place right now on Twitter, other news sites and Android sites. T-Mobile, thanks to LG, have dropped a double-header of dual-core deliciousness for Android gamers to choose from if you are on T-Mobile (or thinking about switching to them). The G2X and G-Slate have officially launched today.

There are some deals to be had as well, especially if you are looking to start a new account with T-Mobile. More on that in a minute though, let's get the specs out of the way first. Depending on how you want to enjoy gaming, whether you like tablet gaming or on your phone, you have two choices now on T-Mobile: G2X and G-Slate. Both are sporting dual-core Tegra 2 chips from nVidia and the G-Slate tablet also comes with Honeycomb.

G2X Specs:

  • NVIDIA® Tegra™ 2 AP20H dual-core processor (2X 1 GHz)
  • Android 2.2 (upgradeable to 2.3 according to T-Mobile's G2X page)
  • 4G Capable
  • WiFi/Bluetooth
  • 8GB internal memory
  • Micro SDCard slot for another 32GB of memory
  • 512 RAM
  • 4" screen running at 800x400 resolution
  • 720p video recording
  • 1080p HD Video capturing
  • 1.3MP front-facing camera / 8MP rear-facing camera
  • HDMI

G-Slate Specs:

  • NVIDIA® Tegra™ 2 AP20H dual-core processor (2X 1 GHz)
  • Android Honeycomb OS
  • 4G Capable
  • 8.9" multitouch screen
  • 3D and HD video capture
  • 32GB built-in memory
  • 5MP rear-facing Camera / 2MP front-facing camera
  • HDMI
  • WiFi/Bluetooth

Now depending on what you enjoy more, tablet gaming or just using your phone, both of these are solid beasts that will more than help you get your gaming fix. Both come pre-loaded with Tegra Zone from nvidia on them as well to help you find those fancy Tegra 2 based games to play. We've had a chance to play with both over the course of the past few conferences this year that we've attended already and we've walked away more than excited for both of these devices.

There are some deals to be had already as well. Even though you can nab a G2X off the T-Mobile website for $199 on a 2-year contract, Wirefly is already offering the G2X for $149 right now with a new account. The G-Slate is currently priced at $529 on a 2-year contract but you can expect some deals to start appearing as well.

If you are on T-Mobile and looking to get a new phone or looking to switch to T-Mobile, these are two devices you'll want to strongly consider when making your decision.
