Gameloft says that their Xperia Play optimized games will start landing on the Android Market

Gameloft has announced that they will, indeed, be bringing over the Xperia Play optimized versions of their games over to the Android Market soon. Originally these optimized games have remained on Gameloft's own storefront while their normal Android HD games have slowly been making their way onto the market.

So why the change of heart when it comes to the Xperia Play versions of their games?

This is in reference to future Android HD titles. If the Xperia Play is supported for them then they'll be available through the Android Market as well as our store. Xperia Play versions of our back catalogue of games already on the Android Market will be added on a case-by-case basis, providing the game is available for the device.”

That was their response when the XperiaGamer twitter account asked Gameloft about Xperia Play optimized games on the Android Market. So for you Xperia Play owners, expect more Gameloft titles optimized for your device coming soon to the Android Market.
