Motorola Stadia trademark for possible gaming phone/device?

Interesting news just coming to light regarding a Trademark filed by Motorola regarding the word/name "Stadia". According to PocketNow, Motorola usually just lists things like 'Cellular Phone' in their Trademark filings but with this particular one, it goes into detail, specifically about hand-held gaming in a few ways. We did some digging to find out more.

Motorola is seeking protection regarding a "handheld game device in the nature of hand-held units for playing electronic games for use with external display screen or monitor," and an "electronic non-medical portable device for measuring, storing, transferring and synchronizing an individual's physical exercise and activity levels including date, time, heart rate, global positioning, direction, distance, altitude, speed, distance, calories and temperature."

While the second set of protection speaks more towards some sort of fitness phone, the first set goes into much more detail regarding portable gaming which is unusual considering every phone can play game. Android is the suspected OS to show up on this device to handle these kinds of things which would make complete sense. Check out the Trademark description in full in the screenshot below:

Another interesting thing to note is the specific mention of being able to play games using an external screen. A gaming phone with HDMI-out port wouldn't be anything surprising really but it seems that Motorola really wants to cover themselves with whatever this device is going to be. We could really go crazy in speculation and say that this could be a gaming phone with motion gaming capabilities, like a Kinetic phone. Impossible? Don't forget most new phones are coming with gyroscopes inside along with support in Android 2.3+ for them.

Take everything with a grain of salt for now though. We will keep digging until we find out more as to what exactly this may be and if it is even going to run Android.
