One of the Android tablets that really stood out in the swarm that happen to be there at CES 2011 was the 10.1" Toshiba Android tablet. This particular tablet featured a Tegra 2 chip by nVidia, a nice big screen, 2 cameras, 3 ports and some really nice grip on the back which you can choose in 5 colors.

Well now the official site for the Toshiba Android tablet is now live so if you want to check it out in all its glory, now you can. For those of you though who don't want to, or can't, go to the site right now, here is a list of some of the specs.

Toshiba Android Tablet specs:

  • Tegra 2 chip
  • Android Honeycomb OS
  • 10.1" 16:10 1280x800 resolution HD widescreen 720p
  • Microphone and Headset jacks
  • SD Card slot
  • Replaceable battery
  • 2MP Front-facing camera, 5MP rear-facing camera
  • Stereo Speakers
  • USB 2.0 port/HDMI port/mini-USB Port

The back cover sports some hard rubber grip that you can get in one of five colors. Overall, this is one of our favorites from CES 2011 along with the G-Slate and the Acer tablet, both also Tegra 2 tablets. The XOOM was nice but with the recent price release concerning the XOOM, the Toshiba is looking a lot better of an option as are the G-Slate and Acer tablets.
