Everyone has probably heard by now that Amazon has some goodies in the works when it comes to Android devices. Well some news regarding their tablets that are being developed has come out that these devices, codenamed Coyote and Hollywood, will be multi-core Android tablets, slated for release near the end of this year.
'Coyote' will be the tablet running the dual-core Tegra 2 chip while 'Hollywood' will has a T30 Tegra 3 quad-core chip stuffed into it according to the source who spoke to Wired. It is no surprise that Amazon would be making tablets and other Android devices considering their jump into the Android ecosystem with the App Store for Android. The Kindle was also very successful so Amazon does have some hardware success under their belt already.
Both tablets are rumored to be available by the end of 2011 which fits right along with Tegra 3's timeline. We may also see one of these sporting the next Android OS version, Ice Cream Sandwich, which is also slated for release near the end of 2011.
