If we were to guess which manufacturer would have the first Kal-El tablet leaked, we would have said Motorola or perhaps Samsung, maybe even LG. What we wouldn't have said was ZTE but apparently that is the case in what has been leaked out of China.
According to Pocket-lint, the first nVidia quad-core Android tablet has been spotted in China coming from ZTE and will be running Android 3.2. This is a 7" tablet running at 1280x800 resolution and sports some decent internal hardware to help run the quad-core chip including 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. It also sports a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front-facing camera and apparently can stream 1080p.
Dubbed the ZTE T98, it has shown itself at an expo in Beijing which is where the above photos were taken. This device is slated for the Asian market first with no time frame as to when, if at all, it will arrive anywhere else. Anyone getting excited for quad-core devices yet?
