Fieldrunners HD update brings with it support for tablet gaming

Fieldrunners HD for Android which landed yesterday on both the Amazon App Store and the Android Market has already received it's first update. While the initial release of Fieldrunners HD for Android worked well on Android phones, tablets were not readily supported... until now.

This afternoon, Subatomic Studios has pushed out an update that addresses tablet support. If you have a tablet and have been wanting to play Fieldrunners HD on it, now you can. The update was just pushed onto the Android Market and the Amazon App Store though so if you don't see it just yet, give it a few and it will be there. There is always a bit of a delay with any market from when you post an update to when it is actually visible to users.

The sale is over for Fieldrunners HD so should you decide to pick it up now it will cost you $2.99 but you can still nab Fieldrunners HD on the Amazon App Store for only $1.49 for a limited time. Still a great tower defense game that, considering the visuals it has, will look great on a tablet. The update is available for both the Amazon App Store and Android Market versions. Please remember that the Android Market version is available for everyone outside of the US right now. If you are a US resident and want to play Fieldrunners HD, you will have to get it through the Amazon App Store for now.
