Over the past couple of months we have reported on Gameloft and their line-up of upcoming games for Android. While we all wait for Wild Blood to actually get released onto Android, we do get to play a few other games in the meantime from Gameloft and it looks like we could possibly end up getting another one before Wild Blood arrives. This time around though it will feature some ridiculously cute ponies in the form of a My Little Pony game.
If you have been playing games in the arcades back in the day then one title you will surely know is Dragon's Lair. This particular game was way ahead of it's time when it came out with the rather unique gameplay it came with. Digital Leisure recently released a mobile optimized version of this classic action adventure arcade game onto Android but there wasn't any free demo versions for people to check out before jumping right in and buying the game for $4.99.
There is a new cross-over that will be coming to the world of Angry Birds and will completely themed around Star Wars. This morning the official announcement event will be happening in Time Square over in New York at 10am EST but we've already learned more about this new game along with when it will be arriving and yes, it will be a whole new game. Think of Angry Birds Rio but instead with Star Wars.
I missed The Bard’s Tale when it came out in 2004, but did play it a bit through the OnLive service on my PC. I’ve missed a lot of single-player titles, mainly because my normal favorite subject (before getting my first Android, of course) is massively multiplayer titles. I’ve noticed how the number of older titles being brought back to life thanks to mobile devices and the Play market keeps rising. It’s very possible that many of these titles will be seen by a new generation and possibly have more impact than they did originally, thanks in large part to their new, portable nature. I know that I was more impressed with The Bard’s Tale this time around because I was able to hold it in my hand. What would have normally been older looking graphics now look sharp and crisp thanks to the smaller, higher-resolution screen.
A couple of days ago, we talked about Sega re-mastering their classic arcade game Zaxxon and releasing it for the modern times as Zaxxon Escape. Well, in prompt fashion, the game has now landed on Google Play to appease your arcade gaming needs.
We posted a short update on our Google+ page and on Twitter at the beginning of last week as to what we would be doing over the course of the past 7 days but for those of you who don't follow us on either of those social media outlets (shame on you!), you may be wondering what has been up with the site lately with the lack of posting, and when we did post, it was late at night.
We've been waiting for the multiplayer version of Shadowgun to arrive since we got to play with it back during CES 2012. Now it looks like the game is heading into the final stages of development as the closed beta for Shadowgun: Deadzone is now available. This is a limited closed beta and only devices in the Czech Republic can take part in it.
2K Games, the famous developers behind the NBA simulation game series on PC and console, have launched their latest effort onto Android as well. Basketball fans in particular and sports fans in general will surely welcome the arrival of this series on Android as it brings along with it great graphics and gameplay.
Google Play may not short of auto-running platformers, but Rayman Jungle Run is a welcome addition. Well, a more than welcome addition in fact. Powered by the same Ubisoft engine that Rayman Origins runs on and developed by Pastagames for mobile devices (I’m hungry already), Rayman Jungle Run is the kind of game you immediately appreciate the moment you start playing.

Originally announced back during CES 2015, Snail Games unveiled two gaming focused Android devices during that show, the OBox Android game console and the W3D Android gaming phone. We went hands-on with both of those and found that both were quite good for gaming. Today it appears the wait is
