Chillingo has released a couple of new games onto the Google Play store this morning called This Could Hurt and Grow Away. Both games are very different from each other with This Could Hurt being a 3D platformer while Grow Away is a game similar to a lot of the other 'vs' types of games already available on Android except this one is themed around food vs bad diet.
In what will most likely go down in history as one of the strangest team-ups in mobile gaming, Danny Trejo, of Sons of Anarchy fame along with god knows how many movies he's been in, and Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak will be teaming up to release a new mobile game for 'tablets' called Danny Trejo's Vengeance: Woz With A Coz. So what do we know about this game?
Having been released over a week ago as a location-based early access beta for folks in Canada and Australia, Spacetime Studios have gone ahead and officially launched their newest title in the Legends franchise called Arcane Legends. As the Android world evolves, so does the content that is being released into the Play store. What was once a platform dominated by great casual games such as Cut the Rope and Dragon Fly, is now being taken over by the more 'hardcore' of games like Need for Speed, Shadowgun and Modern Combat. Controllers are being introduced and the Ouya is on the horizon. This is where I wish to go back to basics, highlighting the best casual games that deserve to be noticed and get them out of the shadows of the bigger budget games. You may or may not be familiar with the Foxconn suicide-inspired game, or the actual event that took place to inspire it, that was released last month onto the iOS App Store, and subsequently taken down recently for obvious reasons. Kemco, a game development company who almost exclusively releases old school style RPG titles, has released a new game for fans to sink their teeth into called End of Aspiration. As with a lot of Kemco's previous titles, End of Aspiration features a good dose of retro style graphics mixed into a full-sized RPG concerning the fate of the world.
Samsung revealed no too long ago that they were developing a controller specifically for their Gear VR headset. While details about said controller haven't been plentiful, today there seems to be a few images that are apparently of the controller the company is designing for the Virtual Reality headset.
