Today a new game development studio has announced that not only do they exist but that they will focus on nothing but wearable games. According to the company, called Everywear Games, they are the first studio in the world to focus solely on this type of platform. Everywear Games is made up of veteran executives that have worked for some other big companies in the industry including Remedy, Digital Chocolate and Rovio.
Telltale Games have had a busy week so far it seem. Tomorrow then next installment into their Tales from the Borderlands series will lands on Google Play for everyone to enjoy and today the company has begun teasing the next episode for their Game of Thrones series. Unfortunately though this time there isn't a trailer to check out... yet.
Madfinger Games has decided to celebrate St. Patrick's Day by hosting a sale on some of their classic games on Google Play. On top of that, both of their classic games that are going on sale have also been updated today with improved optimization and performance on newer Android devices as well as Android TV support.
Earlier this morning Nintendo and DeNA announced a partnership where the two companies would be working together to bring Nintendo IPs to mobile gamers. These will be coming in the form of completely new games that will be based off of currently existing IPs like Super Mario Bros. on their other platforms. Primarily because that is what the main character, The Sleeping Prince, accomplishes in the game. He ends up landing on platforms, beds, bouncing plants, and a cadre of other places to help his kingdom. With excellent ragdoll physics, Signal Studios, the game developer, with partner Tilting Point, have created a lush world for this puzzle/platformer to succeed in many ways. The Sleeping Prince is now available to download in the Play Store and the Amazon App Store, and it shouldn't be missed.
Google has announced that they will begin using the industry standard for age ratings on Android games on Google Play. This means Android games will now have a rating similar to the ESRB rating system which is currently used to rate games on PC and console.
