While there is no shortage of endless running game there in the mobile gaming world, there isn’t a whole lot of them that has you playing as a chicken. In fact you aren’t just playing as a chicken inĀ Headless but as a chicken with its head cut off and blood spurting out of it. While the game overall has a white, grey and black visual style to it, you’ll be pleased to know that your spurting blood does, in fact, show up red.
Noodlecake Studios finally lets The Blockheads invade Android, complete with multiplayer servers
Back in September of this year we announced that Noodlecake Studios and Apportable had joined forces and during that announcement it was also mentioned that The Blockheads would be arriving in September as well. Even though it is a little late The Blockheads have finally invaded Android and it does indeed come with multiplayer servers.
With Square Enix’s recent announcement of nine Dragon Quest games heading to mobile over the next little while, one would expect that the first hands-on video from the upcoming mobile versions of the franchise would be of the first game. Interestingly enough though the first hands-on video is that of Dragon Quest VIII instead.
Keith Burgun may not be a name you are instantly familiar with the moment you hear it but our friend has actually designed some pretty well known games. In fact Keith was the game designer behind 100 Rogues which recently made its way to Ouya. Well he’s been keeping us up to date regarding his newest title called Empire which is now available on Google Play.

In case you haven’t had your fill of Square Enix news this week with their announcement yesterday that the company would be bringing a majority of the Dragon Quest franchise over to Android in the near future. While it hasn’t been officially confirmed just yet as to whether or not the series (Dragon Quest 1-8 and Dragon Quest Monster blah bah) would reach Western shores, it is most likely that they will since all the mobile Final Fantasy games have been released in the West.
One of the biggest issues with the Ouya game console is the fact people have no real way to have external storage usage. So once your internal storage is filled up, you’re kind of left in the dark as to what to do. It’s a problem Ouya is well aware of and have been working on it for a bit now. The good news is it looks like a solution is coming closer to happening.
Like we briefly mentioned in our last post a few moments ago, Archos has made the GamePad 2 an official thing now which is about time since we got to play with an early prototype at CES 2013 and it was also basically outted thanks to an FCC filing back in August of this year. So what can you expect in terms of hardware for their second gen gaming tablet?
Usually we end up seeing a Gameloft title appearing on the occasional Android device when a new one hits store shelves. This also is usually a demo version most of the time. However that will be changing with the upcoming GamePad 2 from Archos as Gameloft will have two full free games pre-installed onto the upcomin gaming centric tablet.
Tin Man Games is keeping up their momentum in celebration of their 5 year anniversary with the release of yet another interactive RPG book called Forgotten Spell. This new addition to their catalog doesn’t fall into the Fighting Fantasy franchise nor their own Gamebook Adventure series. However this is still just as good as any of their previous titles and comes with all the features you’d expect to find in a Tin Man Games release.
