One game we have been following throughout its development is OrangePixel’s new game called Heroes of Loot. This new game was inspired by the arcade classic Gauntlet although there are some slightly different game mechanics with Heroes of Loot. In the end though it is all about getting that loot and being a powerful badass.

Technically it actually was released yesterday but that’s alright, we’ll include it in today’s releases instead.
One franchise a lot of fans of brawler games have been wanting to arrive onto Android is the King of Fighters by SNK Playmore. Known as King of Fighter 2012 over on iOS, the Android version has a slightly different name, officially called King of Fighter-A 2012. This game brings the entire roster of King of Fighter 2012 over to Android with controls designed for mobile gamers.

So if you’ve been following the news lately then you already have an idea about what is going on regarding Ouya’s Free The Games fund in conjunction with Kickstarter. For those of you not familiar with any of this, basically if a developer Kickstarts a game for Ouya and is successful with the funding, Ouya will match the developer’s goal amount. The only two requirements are that the game in question will be exclusive to Ouya for a set period of time and that the funding goal be at least $50,000.
Schrödinger’s Cat and the Raiders of the Lost Quark craziness will be arriving onto Android soon
Some games just naturally seem to be as whacky and fun as can possibly be and Schrödinger’s Cat and the Raiders of the Lost Quark by Italic Pig is one of those games. Even the developer’s name mirrors the wackiness that is their upcoming game. The good news is, this craziness will be arriving onto Android soon for everyone to enjoy.

One game we’ve been waiting for since it was successfully funded on Kickstarter is War Balloon’s Star Command. This space themed adventure sim game is one that we have been keeping an eye out for, especially since the iOS version has already been released. It appears that the game may well be getting released this month finally.
Square Enix has been beta testing their newest MMORPG in the Final Fantasy franchise for awhile now and with the game’s actual release people have been having their own issues with trying to get onto the servers to play. It’s a good problem for a company to have when that many people are trying to log into their game. Sucks for the players though until more server power is added.
