A couple of days ago a game called Nakama was released onto iOS for iPhone users to play. Nakama is a rather cool retro looking side-scrolling arcade game featuring ninjas and the good news about this game is that it will be arriving onto Android courtesy of Crescent Moon Games.
There are already two Anomaly games out on mobile and soon we will be getting a third one as well. Back in February of this year we talked about Anomaly 2, the official sequel to the Anomaly franchise, but back then it was only confirmed for PC release. Having been on Steam for a bit now, 11 Bit Studios has been working on bringing the game to Android and iOS, something they said they wanted to do back in February.
Sony is bringing some of the most recognizable characters from their games over to Android (and iOS) in a Playstation All-Stars game called officially called Playstation All-Stars Island. The game is currently available on Google Play but for whatever particular reason it is exclusive to Europe right now.

Last month we reported on the fact that an official version of Transport Tycoon would be making its way to Android. Unfortunately we just didn’t know when it would be made available. With XBMC for Android soon being available for both Android devices as well as the Ouya and GameStick consoles, the developers have been hard at work adding new features to the application. In the latest pre-release build, XBMC now comes with support for Apple’s Airplay as well as a variety of other new features and fixes.
While we were going to fire up our Ouya and do this ourselves, it seems someone has beaten us to the punch and has loaded the brand new high speed Nintendo DS emulator DraStic onto the Android-powered console. According to a user going by the name of MobileDecay (dig the name by the way), the DraStic emulator runs rather nicely on Ouya.
Last week we reported on the fact that R2 Games were gearing up to publish their first mobile game called Excalibur. This company usually specializes in browser-based MMO games and Excalibur marks their first jump into the mobile gaming scene. Excalibur is a side-scrolling MMORPG and the alpha version of it has just been released onto Google Play.
Larva Labs has been around on Android for a long time and have made some pretty addictive games in that time. One of those games happens to be a series called Gurk which, up until now, had two installments available. Well it has been somewhat quiet over at Larva Labs but the silence has been broken as the company has released Gurk III officially and not in the beta form that was up on Google Play for a bit.
It’s Wednesday and therefor it is time for another mid-week round-up of Android games that happen to be on sale right now. There are a few new titles to the list from last week’s round-up while some other titles have ended their sale. The list still has some good quality games that you’ll want to check out though.
