Gameloft has revealed the next installment into their Gangstar franchise of games which is now officially called Gangstar Vegas. As the name suggests, this new Gangstar game takes place in good old Las Vegas, which also happen to be where DroidGamers HQ is located. Coincidence? We think not although it probably is.
While we don’t talk about hardware here all the time, we do get to talk about it when it pertains to Android gaming in some fashion. With Nvidia’s Tegra 4 chipset on the horizon and soon to be invading our new Android devices, getting a peek at any device that will contain the new Tegra 4 chipset is always nice. Toshiba has had their upcoming Tegra 4 Android tablet leaked out along with a glimpse at Android 4.2.1.
Back in June of last year we talked about the fact that one of the classic racing games that contains plenty of carnage will be making its way to Android in the near future. Well it finally looks as though that ‘near future’ will be happening finally, almost a year later, as Carmageddon is slated for released onto Android finally on May 10th, 2013.
Back in March we talked about a game called Wizard Ops Tactics that was heading our way soon from Phyken Media. It seems as though the time has finally come to try your hand at being the ultimate wizard commander as Wizard Ops Tactics is now available on Google Play.
Way back in December of last year we talked about Noodlecake Studios who had begun teasing a rather cool retro style arcade games called Punch Quest. Well after some time in development, Punch Quest has finally made its way onto the Google Play store so we can all enjoy plenty of face punching fun.
Earlier this week we posted a rather nice list of games that had gone on sale on Google Play. While sales don’t usually happen to that extent in the beginning of the week, it seems to be a new trend that is starting. However, since that post some more games have gone on sale, making the past list even bigger and better.
Game Insight is gearing up to release the mobile version of an MMORPG called Dragon Eternity onto Android soon. We actually talked about this game coming to Android back in June of last year and it finally looks as though it will be released soon. Dragon Eternity is a rather large MMORPG content-wise where players will be able to control their own dragon pet and battle it out with a variety of other monsters while exploring a rather big world.
Recently Herocraft, in conjunction with First Star Software, released a remake of the classic Boulder Dash games called Boulder Dash-XL. While this game features the same hectic style of gameplay as the classic version did from a long time ago, the visuals have been completely redone with a more 3D look to them. There are also a couple of other features that this reboot comes with to bring it more into the modern times.
Dragonplay already has a few games released worldwide for Android games but for the most part they are casino games like Live Texas Hold ‘Em Pro and Farm Casino. Well the company has announced that a new division within the company has been created called Dragonplay Casual which will deal with bringing their other games over to the rest of the world.
A couple of weeks ago we announced that the sequel to N3V Games’ Dead On Arrival zombie shooting game would be having a pre-beta launch for its final testing before the game is officially launched onto Google Play for everyone to download. There are a few things to note before just diving right into the game if you have managed to get into this beta.
