Back in March of this year we wrote about a new DLC for 11-bit studios game called This War of Mine. While the initial release for The Little Ones DLC was for the PC version of this game, it was also mentioned that a mobile port of it would be arriving in the future. Well that future is now and The Little Ones is now available for download.
11-bit Studio’s This War Of Mine’s upcoming physical board game version now has its Kickstarter campaign live
Usually we see board games getting a digital version released onto mobile devices (and other platforms). However, on the flip side of things, 11-bit studio’s This War Of Mine game will be getting a physical board game version made. What’s even more interesting is the fact that 11-bit Studio promises that it’ll be just as intense as the video game. While news of the board game being made has been known for a little bit now, just to make everything official, the Kickstarter campaign for it has launched this morning.
11-bit Studios’ popular, dark, and at times, depressing This War Of Mine war survival game will be getting just a bit more dark and depressing soon thanks to the addition of children coming soon to the game. This is a sort of sequel to the original game, officially titled This War Of Mine: The Little Ones, which 11-bit Studios just revealed as coming to mobile devices during a YouTube conference showing. This was originally announced as a PC version.
11-bit Studios posted a new video blog on their YouTube channel, which is something they do on a regular basis where they talk about what the company has been working on lately. However, this time there was some pretty interesting news regarding their latest game This War Of Mine. Currently this game is only available on tablets (not including PC and console versions), but that appears to be changing and as soon as next month.
It’s Friday which means it is time once again for our end of the week round-up of Android games on sale right now for this weekend. While some of the games on this round-up’s list are repeats, we also have a lot of newcomers as well. This is especially true with not only SNK Playmore putting games on sale but also 11-bit Studios getting in on the action as well.
Anomaly 2 is a tower assault game from 11-Bit studios. This is the middle game of a trilogy, and seems to really push the boundaries for what tower assault can be, as a genre. My experience with the game was a solid one, with very few flaws. So let us dive into this review shall we?
This War of Mine from 11 bit studios is officially coming to tablets, gets a new interactive trailer
One game we have been waiting for since we first reported on it back in May 2014 is a game called This War of Mine by 11 bit studios, the same company responsible for the extremely popular and fun Anomaly tower defense/offense franchise. This game has already been available on PC for a bit now but This War of Mine is finally going to be heading to tablets soon. When we originally reported on this game, it wasn’t officially announced for mobile devices, but we figured it would be arriving at some point.
11 bit studios has released a series of of reversed tower defense games, all under the moniker of Anomaly. For the uninitiated, this franchise take the classic idea of tower defense (where players set up defenses such as laser turrets to stave off waves of enemies from passing by), and reverse it, where it’s up to players to be the “invading force” and make succeed in getting units from their battalion past the defenses.
11-Bit Studios is gearing up to release what will be the last chapter in the Anomaly series called Anomaly Defenders. Originally this game was released onto Steam back in May of this year and we had hoped that the Android version would also launch at around the same time. Unfortunately that didn’t happen but the wait appears to be ending soon as 11-Bit Studios has announced that Anomaly Defenders will be landing on Android next week.
