It looks like Gameloft’s Asphalt 8: Airborne game has a new tournament that just started called The Transporter Refueled Cup. This is themed around the upcoming release of the movie of the same name, which arrives tomorrow.

It appears that Gameloft will be adding a rather interesting feature in the next Asphalt 8 update. The company has begun teasing what looks like custom paint jobs for the cars that are in Asphalt 8. Of course since this is more of a tease than anything else, there are not a whole lot of details as to what exactly this will entail.
A few days ago we reported on some news coming from Gameloft that was in regards to their newest racing game called Asphalt 8: Airborne that was recently released onto Google Play. Originally when this game launched it was priced at $0.99 but a few days ago Gameloft announced it would be changing the price of Asphalt 8: Airborne to free.
Gameloft’s newest racing game Asphalt 8: Airborne is set to get its first major update soon. This update will bring with it a new car along with the ability to add additional cars in the future at any time without the need for a major update. This means you could load up the game and one day find five new cars appearing out of the blue.
Usually we end up seeing a Gameloft title appearing on the occasional Android device when a new one hits store shelves. This also is usually a demo version most of the time. However that will be changing with the upcoming GamePad 2 from Archos as Gameloft will have two full free games pre-installed onto the upcomin gaming centric tablet.
Gameloft’s next installment into their Asphalt series of racing games is finally about to launch tomorrow and to make sure everyone knows about it still, Gameloft has released a new trailer for everyone to check out. As you already know, the original release date of August 8th, 2013 that was given during Google’s Nexus 7 press event was only a possible release date and not an official one.
The other day we talked about the fact that Gameloft’s next installment into the Asphalt racing series of games had been delayed and that the August 8th, 2013 release date given during the Google Nexus 7 event wasn’t an exact nor official release date. That was some bad news but today we have some good news with Gameloft announcing the actual release date for the game via their Twitter account.

Gameloft has begun releasing teaser trailers for Asphalt 8 and the newest one shows off some of the gameplay we can expect to find when the game is finally released.

Well during today’s press event that Google held, Gameloft apparently had Asphalt 8: Airborne demonstrated, showing the game optimized for the new Nexus 7 tablets.
