Over the past few days Rovio has been busy pumping out the updates for almost all of their Angry Birds games. The company has released an update for Angry Birds, Angry Birds Space and Angry Birds Star Wars which brings new levels to all three games. Not bad considering Rovio is currently working on the rather large sequel to Angry Birds Stars Wars right now.

Rovio announced through MTV’s Multiplayer Blog, for some reason, the next episode that would be arriving for Angry Birds Star Wars which will be called Cloud City. This update will bring with it around 20 new levels to work your way through as well as additional new hazards and mechanics that players will have to deal with.
Ever since the first day, the pause menu in Angry Birds: Star Wars HD contained a couple of ads for Rovio’s other games. Considering this was a paid game costing $2.99, the presence of the ads was baffling, irrespective of whether the ads were only for Rovio’s other titles. However, users could turn off the ads by tapping a button in the in-game menu, so a large-scale protest never materialized.
A couple of days ago we posted about Rovio teasing a new update for Angry Birds Star Wars which would be heading our way soon. Well ‘soon’ came rather quickly as this new update is now live on Google Play and available for download. Interestingly enough we didn’t think it would be named Escape from Hoth but it ended up being the official name for this update.
Yesterday we talked about Rovio teasing a new content update for their pig-centric physics-based puzzle game Bad Piggies and now today we get to talk about another update coming our way although this time it is for their Angry Birds Star Wars game. A few moments ago Rovio posted a teaser image of the Millennium Falcon flying into an underground tunnel. An underground themed update perhaps?
Rovio is getting in on the holiday action this season by putting up all the HD versions of all their games on sale for $0.99. If you own the free versions of any of their games and happen to want to get rid of the ads, while getting a little bit of a boost in the visual department, then now is a good time to take advantage of the sale.
Yesterday we reported on Angry Birds Star Wars and the fact it was going to be getting a new content update today. Well that update has now gone live for Android players who will now be treated to a healthy dose of AT-AT Walkers and will also be able to use the pink bird, otherwise known as Princess Leia.
Rovio has announced via their Twitter account that Angry Birds Star Wars will be getting a new content update on November 29th, 2012 (tomorrow). This update will feature the Planet Hoth and to tease ever Angry Birds Star Wars fan out there, Rovio has released a promotion trailer about the update, adding yet another video to the library of promotional videos already available for this game.
Just to round off this morning’s release of Rovio’s newest game, Angry Birds Star Wars, is news that the game has also arrived right on time for those of you who use Amazon’s AppStore, especially for those of you who play games on your Kindle Fire. There are three versions of the game to choose from on Amazon’s AppStore, the free ad-supported version, an ad-free version for $0.99, and the Kindle Fire version which is basically the HD version for $2.99.
Rovio’s latest cross-over game with their Angry Birds franchise, called Angry Birds Star Wars, has arrived right on time for Android gamers to download and lose an entire day today at least of productivity at work or school. Featuring some new gameplay mechanics in the form of new Angry Birds powers and all the physics from past Angry Birds games, Rovio seems to have brought it all together under one title to breath new life into the franchise.
