The crew over at Jet Set Games have launched a wicked looking turn-based strategy game called Highborn onto the Android platform. Now this is were you’ll have to get used to hearing this next line. It is available exclusively on the Amazon App Store. This is obviously going to be a trend if it wants to compete with the Android Market.

A few days ago word got out that the landing page for the upcoming AppStore for Android by Amazon has gone live a little early. A source has told Wired that the actual launch will be March 22nd (tomorrow) and although the source has remained nameless (due to NDA’s from Amazon), they are considered a trusted source by Wired.
The Amazon AppStore seems to have gone partially live already with the landing page for Android already available for viewing. However, when you click on any specific app or game, it just takes you back to the Amazon website right now. The Amazon AppStore for Android landpage is pretty simple and clean in the layout.
