Gameloft has announced that Modern Combat 5: Blackout will be getting a massive content update soon and when the update lands, Modern Combat 5: Blackout will also be made available on Google Play for free. Today the iOS version of the update was released and the Android version will be ‘coming soon’.

Gameloft’s Modern Combat 5: Blackout will be getting its first content update at some point today. One of the bigger additions to this game is the inclusion of two popular maps from two of the previous Modern Combat games as well as a new voting system for multiplayer when maps are switching between games.
Gameloft’s latest installment into their Modern Combat franchise is finally on sale which means those of you who have been waiting for a price drop to happen before picking this game up can now head over to Google Play and snag a copy for cheap.
Two days before its intended launch, Modern Combat 5 was leaked to gamers everywhere via torrent. Gameloft is understandably livid. In a perhaps futile effort to stem the tide of users illegally acquiring the game because of the lack of an official launch, Gameloft rushed to push the game’s release ahead by one day.
It seems that Modern Combat 5: Blackout has been leaked out onto the big internet and Gameloft is none too happy about it, especially since the apparent person responsible for this is a winner of a contest to get early access to the game. Once they got their early access copy, the winner in question cracked it and started distributing it online.
If you’ve read even a portion of our articles in the past month or so regarding Gameloft’s upcoming game Modern Combat 5: Blackout, then you should be pretty well educated on a majority of the content and features coming with the game when it gets released. One thing most people probably don’t know is when the game is actually going to come out. This is mainly because Gameloft hadn’t announced a release date, only that it would be coming this Summer.

Gameloft is holding their third day of live streaming while E3 2014 is going on and today’s stream has Ryan, their community manager, playing two of their upcoming games: Spider-Man Unlimited and Modern Combat 5: Blackout. The Spider-Man Unlimited portion of the live stream will be showing off the gameplay involved in this title.
Gameloft is holding another live stream and this time it is at E3 2014. A lot of companies are doing this now and, of course, E3 being the biggest video game conference there would be plenty of live streams. However Gameloft is streaming some Modern Combat 5: Blackout (with its price just being confirmed as $6.99 at launch) goodness with a little Rival Knights mixed into the stream and possibly some other goodies as well.
Gameloft announces Spider-Man Unlimited, releases new E3 teaser trailer for Modern Combat 5: Blackout
As E3 2014 approaches, we’ve already reported on the fact that Gameloft has about 4-5 additional titles that they will be revealing during the big video game conference. Well it seems the company didn’t want to wait when it comes to one of those games and they have released a new announcement trailer, announcing a game called Spider-Man Unlimited.
Gameloft seems to be releasing new screenshots and information regarding their upcoming addition to the Modern Combat franchise called Modern Combat 5: Blackout. If you’ve been following the site the last couple of weeks, then you are probably all caught up with all the details that have been released so far.
