Use your influence to vie for the papacy in Avignon: Clash of Popes, now available from Google Play
Released by Semag Studio LLC, Avignon: Clash of Popes is a tabletop game that’s just been ported over to Android. Set in the 14th century, players assume the role of the purported next pope, only to see the job usurped by someone else.
You’ve probably played Solitaire on just about every computer that you’ve ever used that wasn’t a Mac (unless you used iTunes) and not at work. Maybe you understood the game, maybe you didn’t, but you probably tried it at least once.
King, who has developed some pretty successful mobile games in the past, recently released their newest game onto Android which happens to be a live multiplayer card game called Shuffle Cats. This game takes place in the 1920s, and so everything is themed around that era in time. The company has already pushed out the game’s first update.
Conquer Age, a strategy CCG, has been released onto Google Play, according to developer/publisher TOAST. Developed by 4PLAT and published by NHN Entertainment Corp. (did you follow all of that?), Conquer Age is a CCG where players can form nations, enlist other players, and attempt to build an empire, using over 450 unique hero cards that are apparently inspired from history. Their presser names Guan Yu, Leonidas, and the Barbarian goddess Bonacheya as a few of the heroes.
Today Sony has announced their first original free-to-play IP for mobile gaming called Suits & Swords. This new IP for Sony is a pretty interesting mix of Blackjack (well it’s more the strategy behind the game according to Sony) and RPG mechanics in one title.
We’ve recently talked about a game that would be coming from Game Insight that happens to be a bit out of the norm for the company. Instead of a sim, time management or RPG-esque style game, Game Insight has released Jewel Poker onto Google Play.
Game Insight has officially announced that they will be bringing a new poker game to Android and iOS called Jewel Poker. For those of you who play poker, Jewel Poker will come with two games, Omaha and Texas Hold ‘Em. The developers are stating that Jewel Poker will provide players with ‘lightening-fast gameplay with huge bonuses’.
Gameloft and Mattel announce cross-platform multiplayer Uno & Friends, coming to Android later this year
Gameloft and Mattel are teaming up once again in regards to the popular card game Uno. This time, however, it will come in the form of a new game called Uno & Friends and as you may be guessing, this new title will come with multiplayer, allowing you to play with your friends.
