Kool2Play, the developers behind the recently released Estiman title, have released their newest game onto Android called Nice Slice. This is a more casual arcade game that is all about trying to slice stuff into smaller pieces. The smaller the pieces you end up cutting, the higher the score you get.

In yet more news about casual games set in outer space, there’s another option available to players. Dubbed Space Invaders (no, not that one), this is game where players will need to jump from one purple colored “pocket” of outer space, to the next. This will be done by tapping, but players will have a few things working against them.
Released by Playdigious, unWorded is a game that was initially released on iOS, and has now been ported over to Android. For those unfamiliar with the game, it’s predicated on the idea of shapes and other visual elements being comprised of letters. As an example, one could make an umbrella out of the the letter “J”, along with a vertical line and what looks like a parentheses, with the “J” being the standard curved handle that one associates with umbrellas.
It’s Friday which means it is time for another round-up of all the Android games currently on sale over on Google Play. While there isn’t a whole lot special with this upcoming weekend, there seems to be a lot of games on sale right now, with a lot of the titles being discounted are more along the lines of being franchises, such as a number of LEGO games or Bridge Constructor titles.
NimbleBit, developer of charmingly entertaining sim games such as Tiny Tower and Pocket Trains, has shown off a teaser trailer for its upcoming city-building simulator, Bit City. Currently available on Google Play in unreleased form, Bit City will be officially released in March.
Released by ZPLAY, Blyss is a new puzzler for the Android platform. In this game, players will be tasked with eliminating all the dots, in order to complete the level. The layout for a given level is fairly simple, in that players will be looking at a Material-esque outdoors scene, with a smattery of squares that vaguely resemble dominoes, as each one will have a number of dots on it.
Oops! Studios has given us their take on pinball. With sequentially rising pairs of paddles you have one task; keep the ball above them. It’s an interesting spin on an old standby, one that I happen to love. The old and the new, to be clear.
Entropy: A Quest for Harmony is a unique, relaxing puzzle game that involves rotating elements around triangles in 2 dimensional geometric spaces to achieve a balance. There are over 60 puzzles in which equilibrium must be found, with new mechanics being added over the course of levels increasing in both challenge and complexity.
The folks over at Disney are kickstarting the traditional holiday sale season by placing a few of their games in the Play Store at big discounts. These discounts range from 50-80%, bringing the price of each title down to only $0.99.
