The event, which is Niantic’s way of saying thank you for making their game a ridiculous success, will have trainers receiving double the XP and Stardust for a week.
Mobile eSports is still a young part of the entire eSports scene but it is growing. Amazon has announced today that they will be holding their first mobile eSports tournament next month called the Champions of Fire Invitational in Las Vegas. The prize pool? A cool $100,000, with 1st place cashing in $30,000. The official host of this tournament is actually the Amazon Appstore and the tournament as a whole will feature a variety of casual mobile games.

The game, which is called Trolls: Crazy Party Forest, is based off of the upcoming animated DreamWorks movie that is simply called Trolls.

Released by Undercoders, Trending Pharaoh is a game where players are in charge of the social network, on behalf of ancient rulers that are mostly based in Egypt. Players will have a list of options in front of them, that are the various social networks available to the pharaoh, and posts are made simply by tapping on that network, with the goal being to fill up that meter in order to gain a follower.

Released by R2 Games, PolitiCats is a new clicking game for Android. In this game, players will be looking to run a political campaign, comprised of cats. Players will begin by seeking election as Class President, and will parlay that into other subsequent elections, with the hopes of eventually being elected as Supreme Earth Cat.
It’s the end of the week which means it is time for another Android game sale round-up. This week’s list actually has a good amount of newcomers showing up, while also having a few repeats from the last round-up we did. There are some pretty decent indie games making their appearance this week as well.

In this game, players will be given a variety of construction themed tasked, such as unloading cargo or clearing debris. There’s a wide variety of heavy machinery that players will be using for all of their construction.
Zynga has decided to release another FarmVilla game onto Android today called FarmVille: Tropic Escape. This is a spin-off of the original game but with a different, more tropical, theme to it. You will be building and growing a variety of structures and crops, but all of it happens to be what you would find in the tropics.
