While most manufacturers enjoy coming up with cool names for their Android devices, for the most part anyways, Sony seems content in just using letters from the alphabet. Eventually they will run out of letters to use and actually have to think up a name or two. Until then though, Sony has announced a new line of Xperia phones, appropriately named the Xperia V, Xperia J and the flagship phone, the Xperia T.

Yesterday we reported on ZTE who had been teasing the world for the past week about unveiling an ‘advanced gaming smartphone’ for Android. Today ZTE has unveiled their new Android phone called the Grand X and if this is what an ‘advanced gaming smartphone’ is supposed to be, they should have released it last year.
Coming right out of left field today is an announcement from MADFINGER Games about their next title to be released onto Android. This game will be called Dead Trigger and will initially be launched for Tegra-based devices. So what is Dead Trigger? Come find out!

In our previous article we mentioned that Atomicom had released four new games over the weekend onto Android. The first three we talked about in that article are all free games that will give you that quick gaming fix while on the go. Their forth title is a racing game called Hawthorne Park THD.
Yesterday we reported on Madfinger Games’ titles disappearing from the Google Play store. Both Samurai II: Vengeance and Shadowgun, along with all version of each game, had gone poof and vanished for some unknown reason. Well the good news is they are back on the Google Play store as of last night and here is what happened.
Well here is something out of the ordinary and for no particular reason. Apparently all of Madfinger Games’ titles have disappeared from the Google Play store. This includes all version of both Samurai II: Vengeance and Shadowgun whether Tegra-based or normal.
Well here is some interesting news regarding what was supposed to be HTC’s quad-core Android phone. Well, actually, it will still be sporting the Tegra 3 quad-core chipset in it everywhere it is launched except for here in the US.
If you haven’t noticed by now with the internet full of upcoming MWC 2012 news, this event is drawing near and the closer it gets, the more information is getting out about various Android devices whether it is through a leak or a company teasing a new product.
Last week we reported on the fact that Tegra 3 quad-core phones would be shipping this quarter. Along with that information came details about the codenamed “Grey” project which was the Icera Modem (3G/LTE radio) being integrated into Tegra chipsets.
