Pinball Arcade by FarSight Studios is one of the two major pinball platforms on numerous platforms including Android (both mobile and consoles like Ouya). Pinball Arcade up until now would reproduce actual pinball tables that used to exist, and some still do, in arcades and other places, bringing these true to life reproductions to mobile platforms so we could all play them.
Way back in June of this year, Farsight Studios put up their first Kickstarter campaign in order to bring one of the best pinball tables from the arcades over to their Pinball Arcade platform. The Twilight Zone table’s Kickstarter campaign was successful and after months of working on digitizing the real table, it is now available for purchase and download for anyone who has Pinball Arcade platform on Android, iOS and Mac. There is also a rumor that a Pro version may have been pushed out for the Elvira Scared Stiff table and features Elvira getting uncensored.
More pinball news coming your way today but this time regarding Pinball Arcade by FarSight Studios. Pinball Arcade is almost the exact opposite of Zen Pinball in terms of the tables it comes with. Both are pinball platforms where you can purchase and play a variety of beautifully rendered pinball tables on your Android device. However, Zen Pinball features completely custom made tables, usually with Marvel themes to them, while Pinball Arcade takes actual pinball tables that existed and makes digital replicas of them for everyone to play.
FarSight Studios has opened up another Kickstarter campaign in order to bring the Star Trek: The Next Generation pinball table to their pinball platform which is available on numerous gaming platforms including Android. Recently they had a successful campaign to bring the Twilight Zone table over and the extra money that campaign raised is being put towards this one.

The original goal was to get enough funding to be able to get the license for the rights to digitize the Twilight Zone pinball table. Well that goal has been reached and they are already half way to getting enough funds for their stretch goal which is the Star Trek: Next Generation table.
Back in October 2011 we reported on Farsight Studios bringing their awesome Pinball Arcade platform to Android in the future. Well the future has become the present as Pinball Arcade is now available on the Android Market for you pinball fans out there.
