EA has decided to soft launch one of their next FIFA related titles on Android in a couple of select regions. FIFA Soccer: Prime Stars is a sports simulation game where players will be building their teams using players from the full and up-to-date 2015/2016 season squads. However, this isn’t your typical soccer sim game in a couple of ways.

eSports has been growing since its inception, and will continue to grow for some time to come as well. In fact the mobile eSports leagues are just starting to really materialize and will most likely grow to be as big as PC/console eSports leagues. Today eSport just got a little bigger with the announcement of EA’s own eSports initiative called their Competitive Gaming Division.
Released by EA, EA Sports FIFA is a sports sim that is set to release on Android on Sept. 22nd, according to EA’s page. The football/soccer game is set to include a new game engine, new controls that allow players to use either gestures or virtual buttons, and also the addition of athlete celebrations, to be triggered after scoring a goal.
EA has come out to confirm that FIFA 13 will be heading to iOS and ‘other mobile platforms’ later this year. Why some of these major game development companies have such an aversion to mentioning Android in their announcements is beyond us but we can expect to see this game released onto Android as well.
We’ve been keeping an eye out for when FIFA 12 would land on Android, or more specifically the Xperia Play, these days. Originally slated for a November release, it was looking like it could be early December instead. Well EA has gotten FIFA 12 out as of today for the Xperia Play keeping with their November release time frame.

So during MineCon 2011 you would think it would be about all things Minecraft but during the video we posted in our last article, which we are including again in this one as well, the Sony Ericsson representative in the video, who happened to be the one I talked to during VDCC 2011, let out some more information about FIFA 12.
Sony Ericsson has released a new trailer for the upcoming addition to the FIFA series of games, FIFA 12. This will be one of those temporary exclusives for the Xperia Play which, if it follows the typical style of the temporary exclusive this devices get, should be available about a month after launch for other Android devices.
Keeping on with the Xperia Play news this morning, word is out about the upcoming FIFA installment that should be landing on Android soon. FIFA 12 by EA, when it is released, will be exclusive to the Xperia Play for the usual one month time period after which it will be available for all Android devices.
EA Mobile, not known for their support of Android due to their lack of games released onto the market as well as the quality of the games, aims to turn that around with their newest release. FIFA 10 just landed on the Android market and brings with it a huge amount of customization for teams and your own player as well as 3D graphics and touchscreen controls.
