It seems today is filled with all sorts of retro goodness for some reason. Kamyran’s Eye by PHK is a very retro looking “rogue-like” RPG (think even before the original Final Fantasy). One cool feature is that every time you play the game, the world changes a little bit so it’s never quite the same each time.
In the spirit of all things ’80s, Grave Digger by FightingFish Games (you got to love some of the developer names) comes to Android. Grave Digger was a really cool game back in the ’80s that was pretty popular so when I saw this game on the market I had to grab it and try it out.
Mini Droid Defense II by BlueCap Studio is another tower defense game but with more 3D style graphics in an isometric view. The creatures you kill also don’t follow an exact path making this particular tower defense game a bit harder then the rest of them that are out right now.

Defend Homeland by ESC Mobile is a Command & Conquer style game that just came out. Only the demo version is available with limited options but even that is fun to play. This is really the first game done in this style of play (RTS) that I’ve seen on the Android market that has caught my eye.
Our first review is of a pretty interesting and fun game called The Great Land Grab or TGLG for short developed by TGLG Corp.
The Game In A Nutshell: The idea of the game is to claim the land (via GPS) that you are located in. As you travel you can claim more lands or try to grab the land owned by someone else.
