The Twitch app gets updated with Push Notifications for Broadcasters. The TwitchCon App is also now available.

Twitch’s first ever convention is drawing closer and closer each day and with that there is a lot of news coming out with what will be taking place during the event. Needless to say, there will be a lot going on. Luckily, if you are attending TwitchCon 2015, Twitch has an app to help you out. On top of that, the company has released an update for their Twitch app which bring a much requested feature to it: Push Notifications for Broadcasters.

The Fall of Sonic: Sega’s Last Breath – Part 1

Young readers might wonder why the internet is filled with so much lament over the fallen blue hero. Sonic The Hedgehog has become the mascot equivalent of Val Kilmer, depressing us with his bloated antics. Dozens of failed games, countless reboots, and now the Sonic Boom atrocity have all but killed this once great franchise. One thing that is interesting about the video game industry is that there are communities just about every aspect of it. There are communities for games specifically, communities for platforms, emulators, modding and just about everything else you can think of that would be apart of video games. A new app has arrived on the US Google Play store called GLHF – Gamers Hangout which is geared towards not only giving gamers another place to hangout, but to also find people to play games with across all platforms.
