Since the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 we have been talking about the new Elite service being offered by Activision which brings a bunch of features to the game both statistically and socially. We also mentioned that there would be a companion app for Android which, even though ended up being delayed, would be released soon.

When Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 was release there was also a new service called Elite which integrated a bunch of social and extra features which you could sign up for either for free or as a paid subscription to fully unlock everything. This Elite service was also supposed to have an Android and iOS application which subsequently got delayed.
Modern Warfare 3 has been out for a little bit now and the new Call of Duty Elite system has been having troubles keeping up with all the traffic. Offered in both a free and premium membership, the Call of Duty Elite system is a service that offers a wide variety of extra features to Modern Warfare 3 including plenty of social features.
Not too long ago, back in the beginning of September, we reported on the fact that Modern Warfare 3 would be getting an application that would allow you to switch up your gear and a few other tasks in-game through your Android device. The new system, called Call of Duty Elite now has a nice little tour on video which shows a glimpse of the mobile app and how it will look.
Over the weekend XP 2011 was taking place and during this event the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 team announced that an app is being built for those of you who are truly addicted to the game and can’t stop thinking about the best possible set-ups to use in multiplayer.
