I’m supposed to explain to you what I thought about My Little Pony, a new adorable city-builder by Gameloft. I could make it really easy and say that it is a pretty charming, well-made city-builder and mini-game collection that is really nothing new. Sure, it has a nice pink coating of Pony magic all over it, but the mechanics have been seen a million times. This is par for the Gameloft course; they specialize in re-creation.

The other day we mentioned that Gameloft’s upcoming My Little Pony game would be arriving on Android real soon after the iOS version was released. Well a couple of days later, My Little Pony has made its way onto Google Play, ensuring copious amounts of cuteness invading your Android device for those of you who go download it. Get ready to create your own Ponyville and hang out with some pony friends.
While we all wait for the My Little Pony game to be unleashed onto Google Play for all the My Little Pony fans out there, we do know that the iOS version of the game is slated for release tomorrow, along side the numerous other big titles released that seem to be planned for November 8th, 2012 on both Android and iOS. That means that the Android version of the My Little Pony game could show up tomorrow as well, or shortly thereafter.
One game which, if you are a fan of ridiculously cute cartoon ponies, Gameloft has begun teasing is the title they have partnered up with Hasbro for called My Little Pony. Featuring characters from the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic animated series such as Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Apple Jack, Rarity, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, players will be creating their own Ponyville with the help of Twilight Sparkle and Spike.
Over the past couple of months we have reported on Gameloft and their line-up of upcoming games for Android. While we all wait for Wild Blood to actually get released onto Android, we do get to play a few other games in the meantime from Gameloft and it looks like we could possibly end up getting another one before Wild Blood arrives. This time around though it will feature some ridiculously cute ponies in the form of a My Little Pony game.
Gameloft released their financial earning and future plans today and while the numbers they announced are quite impressive, the real news was in the fact that they plan to release 20 games between now and the end of 2012, if all goes according to plan of course. Interestingly enough, in that announcement, Gameloft let the cat out of the bag regarding some unannounced games heading our way. Modern Combat 4 anyone?
Gameloft has officially announced that they will be bringing six additional family games to iOS and Android. These games will be geared towards all ages from small kids to adults alike. In fact we have reported on a couple of them recently such as the My Little Pony title that is in the works.
I can only imagine the reaction this news is going to get so we might was well jump right into it. Gameloft is teaming up with Hasbro to bring some official My Little Pony games to iOS and Android, I’m sure this makes plenty of people there unusually happy for one reason or another.
