A few weeks back, a new game came out called Parallel Mafia. It was a new game from the same company, PerBlue, which produced Parallel Kingdom. Both of the parallel games are location-based RPG games. I have heard a lot of good things about Parallel Kingdom but had not played it so I decided to give the new game a try. Temple Run was originally a paid game released onto the iOS platform and as a paid game saw minimal success. The developers, Imangi Studios, decided to change their business model to free-to-play and saw a huge surge in popularity making the game a hit. Sonic has been stuck on the rut for the last decade. Aside from the excellent Sonic Advance series for the Gameboy Advance, Sonic Team has been slolwy administrating the blue hedgehog’s death with each release. The consoles games have been hit with mediocre reviews and each attempt to reinvigorate the series only yielded little to moderate success.
