Today Google finally made their new Pixel phones official after a few major leaks have already shown us what to expect with these new devices. Google revealed all the goodies with the Pixel and Pixel XL during their presentation today, with some surprising features and details going along with it all. On top of all of that, pre-orders for these phones are now live today in select regions.

LG has debuted two new Android smartphones at CES this morning in a new series of devices dubbed the ‘K Series’. The company states that these new smartphones will feature many of the features their premium devices come with, but at a lower, more affordable price than their top tier phones. The first two devices in this new series are the K10 and the K7, both of which will be shown off during CES 2016.
The other day Google announced two new Nexus phones during their Nexus event, the Nexus 6P and the Nexus 5X. Both are pretty solid entries into the Nexus brand, with the Nexus 5X in particular being an upgraded version of LG’s previous Nexus 5. Since the original announcement, all that has really been known about the launching of either device is that pre-orders are live now, and that they would be shipping out later this month.

Originally announced back during CES 2015, Snail Games unveiled two gaming focused Android devices during that show, the OBox Android game console and the W3D Android gaming phone. We went hands-on with both of those and found that both were quite good for gaming. Today it appears the wait is finally over as Snail Games has announced that pre-orders are now available for the W3D.
While the OBox from Snail Games was high up on our list of things to get some hands-on time with as soon as possible, the company’s two new Android phones were also something we wanted to check out. For the past few years there has always been at least one attempt by some company to bring glasses-free 3D gaming to Android. When the concept originally came to light a few years ago, a few companies threw their hands into it with Android devices but almost all of them left everyone wanting and the glasses-free 3D part of it was lackluster at best. This year we have a new attempt to bring glasses-free 3D gaming to Android with a device called The W 3D.
LG held their morning CES 2015 press conference and admits plenty of TV and monitor announcements and home appliances, the company waited till the very end to announce what everyone pretty much knew was already coming – the LG G Flex 2. The announcement came in the style of the company wanting you to make love with the device with your face, or at least that is how it sounded during the announcement.
Amazon is entering the smartphone business with the Amazon Fire Phone. Running on their custom 3.5.0 Fire OS which is Android but heavily altered, the Fire Phone has a set of new features to set itself apart from other phones on the market. With a 4.7 HD display, the Fire Phone’s processor is a 2.2GHz Quad-core Snapdragon 800 CPU, with Adreno 330 GPU and 2GB of RAM. In layman’s terms, it is very powerful.
Not too long ago Google announced that they were indeed working on a modular phone which was called Project Ara. At that time there was not real date as to when we would see this phone hit the market so consumers could purchase it. Well word is that we will see this modular phone hitting stores sometime next year in January.
