Popular iOS publisher/developer, Artificial Life, will be bringing 30+ titles over to Android starting in early 2011. Artificial Life has made and published a variety of applications and games for iOS that have become quite popular. Some big name companies have had games published through them as well including Adult Swim, Overture Films, and more.

It’s good to see some more quality platform games hitting the Android Market. A new one released a couple of days ago by Carbon Crystal Games called Droid Odyssey looks like another very promising one to add to the list. Currently in beta form, this game offers up classic platform-style gaming but with a twist!
Connect2Media and HandyGames have gone into an agreement with GlobalFun regarding the distribution of their games following the developers recent announcement regarding liquidation. In the agreement Handy Games will publish Crazy Cats and UFO Afterlight exclusively on Android in most territories while Connect2Media will do the Israel and Egypt distribution.
Box Fox (a.k.a Box Fox Lite) is a platform game in the alpha stages of development and although it is in the alpha status, you can download and test it out. Developed by Corroding Games, Box Fox is a platform game with a heavy focus on puzzles which you solve by moving objects, stacking boxes and things of that nature while you collect all the gems on each stage.
In the midst of the new wave of games coming with OpenFeint support today and the rest of the week, one such game called Cows Don’t Fly comes from Hyperbees, developered by Kiork. This is an original game with some great graphics, smooth animations, unique gameplay and good music to keep you playing it for quite some time.
Awhile back there was a game called KamiCrazy which some of you who owned (or still do own) an iPhone may remember. It was pretty popular when it came out and now developers Paw Print Games is set to release a retro version of KamiCrazy which is named, you guessed it… KamiCrazy Retro. This game features some great 3D-ish retro styled graphics.
It is pretty unanimous when talking about indie game developers here at DroidGamers that one of our favorites happen to be OrangePixel. Generally under-rated and often overlooked, OrangePixel has been consistently producing and releasing original games for Android that are usually both fun and high quality with their own unique style.
Skyzone has developed a few games in the recent past for Android devices which are unique in concept. Their newest title, Furry Legends, extends their list to include a platformer style game reminiscent of Sonic the Hedgehog. In this game your Furry character rolls through stages, dodging obstacles, using various elements around him to complete each stage and collect gems.
Time Chaos is the next great game from Orange Pixel, and I must admit, the more and more I play thier games, the more I love this developer. The game brings me straight back to the late eighty’s and doesn’t let me go.
