Back in August of last year we talked about Popcap and the fact that they had announced a sequel would be heading our way for their popular defense game Plants vs Zombies. Back then Plants vs Zombies 2 was slated for release in late Spring of 2013 and now that date has been pushed back slightly.

Well another iteration of the Bejeweled series of games, called Bejeweled Legend, has arrived on Android and iOS from PopCap Games. Currently only available for people in Japan, due to it being released on GREE’s social gaming platform, this is the first time Popcap Games has self-published a title (through EA) in Japan.
Barely 24 hours after posting that PopCap’s two hit games, Peggle and Plants vs Zombies, happen to be on their way to the Android Market they actually show up and are now available for download. Up until now both games had been exclusive to the Amazon App Store.
PopCap has just announced that they will finally be releasing both Plants vs Zombies and Peggle on the Android Market later this week. This comes finally after a very long exclusive period on the Amazon App Store where both games were originally released.
PopCap’s incredibly popular game Plants vs. Zombies has been out on Android for a short while now. As with all very popular games, once in awhile someone tries to come out with a fake/broke/complete rip of those games. Well now there is one for Plants vs. Zombies.
PopCap Games has announced a partnership with Sony Ericsson which will see Chuzzle, Peggle and Plants vs Zombies come pre-installed on the Xperia Mini and the Xperia Mini Pro Android devices. This means that European owners of these devices will be the first to actually get PopCap games to play.
