Angry Birds Rio is still getting the occasional content update and a new one has landed on Google Play with an additional 26 levels in total to play through. The update, named Timber Tumble, brings 20 new levels located in and on top of trees. Doing the math, this means that there are 6 bonus levels for your to earn/find in this new update as well.

Angry Birds Rio hasn’t seen an update in awhile but that apparently doesn’t mean the game is dead, especially since there is a sequel to the movie coming out. Rovio has pushed a new update to the game that brings a bunch of new levels as well as something Rovio hasn’t really done before with an older title of their – refreshed the graphics.
After receiving its first update after months of nothing, Angry Birds Rio apparently still isn’t ending as clues to a new update have come to light. This update looks to be a whole new episode which, as of right now, is called Fruit Market. Of course the episode name is subject to change at any time but for right now it is showing as Fruit Market.
While Angry Birds Space is more than likely consuming a large amount of your time right now, if you are an Angry Birds fan that is, Rovio hasn’t forgotten about any of their other Angry Birds games and they have pushed out an update for Angry Birds Rio.
Continuing on with our coverage of how to milk an IP for all it is worth, Rovio has announced today that Angry Birds Rio isn’t over after all since the Smuggler’s Plane update landed in the game back in November 2011. This was announced via their Twitter account a couple of hours ago.
The Angry Birds fever continues to spread, with reports of the franchise reaching record numbers. Rovio’s Ville Heijari, reports on All Things D that an astounding 6.5 million people downloaded the popular bird flicking game on their devices during Christmas Day.
You may remember a few days ago we talked about some leaked picture that displayed the last episode of Angry Birds Rio which was being named Smuggler’s Plane. Well today Rovio has just announced on Twitter that this new, and final, update is now being pushed to the Amazon App Store.

If you’ve watch the Rio movie and have been playing the Angry Birds Rio game, then you know we are down to our last episode for the game which follows the last bit of action in the movie before it end. Since it reflects the movie, there is no surprise that the last episode will be called Smuggler’s Plane.
Gameloft has released a new trailer for the upcoming third and final part of the Gangstar series of games called Gangstar Rio: City of Saints. This new addition also will come with a much bigger, more open game world which you will be able to explore, try out plenty of cars, find weapons and more.
Angry Birds Rio on the Android Market just received an Airfield Chase update which will bring a conclusion to the Airfield Chase episode that recently came out. Among the new levels that come with this update, there also happens to be a new boss fight as well.
