The main software to run your own hosted Minecraft: Pocket Edition server has now got itself a Minecraft Realms feature as well. The great thing about this new feature is that you can actually switch back and forth between PocketMine servers and official Mojng hosted Minecraft Realms servers. Oh and you don’t need to be rooted or anything like that to take advantage of it.

Starting last week Mojang has begun to roll out available Minecraft Realms server slots for folks interested in hosting their own server so they can play with their friends. Since this is still labeled as an Alpha release, there are some bugs with Minecraft Realms that are currently being worked on, with some of them already being fixed and others being made ready to be released in the upcoming 0.7.2 update for Minecraft: Pocket Edition.
Everyone has been waiting patiently for the 0.7.0 update for Minecraft: Pocket Edition to arrive for Android, having had to wait on the iOS version to get approved by Apple before we are graced with the update. It’s been about a month of delays due to bugs and whatnot as well but the wait is over and the 0.7.0 update is now available for download.
We have been following the progress of the Minecraft: Pocket Edition 0.7.0 update since its inception, from the additional features that will be arriving with it to the full multiplayer experience that will be arriving with Minecraft Pocket Realms and even the delays. Now we finally have some good news for everyone, the update is on the way!
The much anticipated 0.7.0 update for Minecraft: Pocket Edition has been slightly delayed from getting pushed out onto Android and iOS. Well there is some slightly bad news today for all of you chomping at the bit to get this update as well as getting on Minecraft Realms with your own server or onto your friend’s server.
So as the 0.7.0 update for Minecraft: Pocket Edition draws closer to release, more finalized details will be coming out so expect to see news regarding both the actual update as well as Minecraft Realms news to pick up in the immediate future. Some more features and details have been confirmed for the 0.7.0 update.
By now, if you play Minecraft: Pocket Edition on any sort of level and follow news regarding it, you should already know that true multiplayer will be arriving in the upcoming Minecraft: Pocket Edition 0.7.0 update. This multiplayer will initially be hosted by Mojang and will be called Minecraft Realms. People who want to have their own server can pay a month fee to have one through Mojang.
So the Minecraft: Pocket Edition 0.6.0 update has been out for a short while now (and the quick 0.6.1 bug fix update as well) and it is time to start talking about the next update which will be 0.7.0 unless Mojang decided to make it an 0.6.x version but that seems doubtful. We’ve already talked about a few features that we are pretty sure will be arriving for this next update but now we pretty much have confirmation on some of them.
While Minecraft: Pocket Edition 0.6.0 has arrived in full force on both Android and iOS, MinePocket-MP has also been updated and a new development build is now available for download as well. Keeping in tune with the Minecraft: Pocket Edition version, the new version of MinePocket-MP is also labeled as 0.6.0 Alpha.
Blizzard’s latest addition to the Diablo franchise was just released last week and the launch of Diablo III has been less than stellar due to a variety of emergency server maintenance and patching having been going on since the launch. This, in turn, has pissed off a rather large amount of players.
