For those unfamiliar with Indie developer Vector Unit, you might have come across their popular Android title, Riptide, GP (read our review here) and recently released Shine Runner (review here) which introduced gamers to realistic racing in incredible water physics. While starting out on consoles, Vector Unit brought the same hard hitting quality and fun gameplay to our devices.

Vector Unit’s newest addition to their water racing game line-up happens to be the more humorous take on the genre called Shiner Runner. If you haven’t checked out the game yet we highly suggest you do as it looks great and is pretty fun to play. However there is a Tegra 3 version on the horizon.
Vector Unit’s second outing on the Android platform returns to the familiar water racing genre similar to their first hit, Riptide GP that first made splashes on Tegra 2 devices. Leaving behind water tracks in favor of a southern swamps and jet skis for fan boat, Shine Runner’s unique humor and arcade game play is great addition to the racing scene.
