GetJar is on the move with more exclusive, full version games for Android and the newest one is from developer Digital Chocolate (love that name) called Millionaire City. As you may already be guessing from the name of the game, it is a Sim City style game where you get to build your city from the ground up with luxury buildings and more.

As far as we can tell this could be the first time a small game developer has been acquired by a bigger one in the world of Android. Gamevil just announced that they have acquired RYUminus, developers of the music simulation game TouchMix. Gamevil has also stated that an update is on the way with new songs.

Ubiquitous Media Inc’s survival game called “The Whoops! Desert Island” has been released, exclusively in Korean, at least for now. Sort of the same way Game Dev Story came out, first in Asia then translated and released globally. The point of the game is that you’re shipwrecked on an island and you have to survival.
Pocket Gem, which recently changed their name from Streetview Labs in case you don’t recognize the new name, just finished a massive round of funding which netted the company $5 million. While this is great, better news is regarding their Tap series of games and the fact that they will be expanding onto Android.
Vegas City is a simulation game where you can create your own Las Vegas strip complete with casinos, resorts, high rollers and more. Developed by Digital Chocolate and originally released onto Facebook, Vegas City is slated to come to Android in the near future. Soon you’ll be able to become filthy rich, in-game anyways.
I know that a lot of people have been wanting to see this game make its way to Android and now their requests have been answered. Developer Pelya who brought us OpenTyrian has now ported over OpenTTD to Android. OpenTTD is an open source clone of Transport Tycoon Deluxe which most people would argue is better then the actual original game.
It has been awhile since an RTS/sim game of any sort looked good enough to catch our attention. Launched about 10 days ago, Warring States by Noumena Innovations is a real-time strategy (RTS) game featuring all your city building needs that you would find in similar games like Civilization or Age of Empires but with an Asian theme.
About a month and a half ago we wrote about a Facebook game which is also available for iOS coming to Android called Happy Island. Basically in the game you run your own island and as you grow your attractions bring in income which you spend on improving your island. Well announced yesterday was that Happy Island has gone completely freemium.
