Star Wars fans have a new toy they may want to get their hands on called the Sphero BB-8. This little rolling robot can be controlled by your smartphone and is based off of the BB-8 character (complete with authentic look and personality) in the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens movie which will be hitting theaters in December.

The Pokemon Company has pushed out an update for their Pokemon TV app on Android. The update brings one singular change to the app, albeit a pretty big one. The Pokemon TV application now supports Google’s Chromecast.
In other streaming app news, Twitch has updated their application with a singular new feature, which happens to be a pop-out viewer. This pop-out viewer will let users continue to watch their current channel of choice on Twitch even when they have left the app itself.
AlphaDraft up until now has been completely browser-based, but today the company has announced that their mobile application with be coming to Android. The AlphaDraft app lets users watch eSports events as well as participating in both free and paid fantasy eSports leagues right through the app itself.
Google has officially announced and begun rolling out the new design for the Google Play store application staring right now. Android phones and tablets running Android 2.2 or higher will at some point over the next week or so be receiving the new layout which, we must admit, looks pretty damn nice. Then again each new design iteration of the Google Play application has been a step in the right direction for the most part.
Hitman: Absolution didn’t do as good as it was thought it would when it arrived on store shelves. That’s not to say sales weren’t good, they just were not as good as originally planned. Well in order to keep interest in the game flowing Square Eniz has released a companion application for Android and iOS so you can plan some contract killing while you’re out and about in the real world.
