D20Studios developed a little game you have probably never heard of or even seen. Called Hero Mages, it just won at the indiePUB awards for Technical Excellence. Table-top RPG fans will probably enjoy this the most although anyone who likes turn-based strategy games or RPGs could also appreciate this neat little title.

Sifting through the Android Market as I usually do in the mornings, looking for new games to try out, I noticed one called Androminion. At first I wasn’t going to take a look at it but for whatever reason I decided otherwise. Developed by Ankur Mehta, Androminion is the Android version of the award winning strategy card game, Dominion.
Very recently we posted about a new game coming from Hexage called Everlands. This is a great strategy game, sort of like Final Fantasy Tactics but with animals. They released a trailer and teased everyone with information and screenshots from the game and now the wait is over. Everlands hit the Android market yesterday for everyone to grab.
Pirate Islands is a turn-based strategy game developed by mkoss (a.k.a Mobilsoft) and is a lot like GalaxIR Star or any other turn-based world map conquering game only this game is in the theme of pirate taking over islands. Your goal is to conquer all the islands on the map which sounds easy enough except for all the other Pirate crews trying to do the same thing.
Hexage has produced some great games such as Totemo, Radiant and of course Booka, are getting geared up to release another title called Everlands. After a bit of a break from releases it is good to see one of the more veteran Android game developer groups releasing another title. Everlands looks to be yet another promising game to add to their resume and to your collection.
Shadow Zone by NewGround is a turn based strategy game set in 1986 when Chernobyl’s 4th block has an accidental nuclear explosion and the area is sealed off. This game boasts 40+ hours of game play so it’s definitely not a short game you’ll be done with in a couple of hours. Now that I’ve gotten some real play time with this game, here is our review of it.
Battle for Mars by Larva Labs just received an update with a great feature…multiplayer! Now you can play against other people in this great turn based strategy game and multiplayer has Shroud of War enabled which means you can’t see where your enemy is until they are right on you (or the other way around).
