The cross-platform sandbox MMORPG called Albion Online, which seems to have been in a beta for years, now finally has an official release date. Along with the official release, Albion Online will also be receiving the Galahad update just before the game officially launches.
Square Enix’s multiplayer RPG called Guardian Codex has received a big content update today. The new content extends the storyline greatly, adds more features to the coop multiplayer mode, a better UI for the home screen, and overall enhanced visuals for all of the content.
In more Pokemon GO news, Niantic CEO John Hanke did an interview with Spain’s El Periodico, Hanke expanded on yesterday’s news regarding the three major updates that are slated for 2017. Unlike yesterday’s announcement which didn’t have much more in the way of detail about the future plans of Pokemon GO, the interview ended up with a fair amount of details.
Nexon’s TCG title Mabinogi Duel is getting another content update and this time it features a collaboration with another franchise, that being BlazBlue. The new update will feature 24 new cards and dialog which is based off of the original storyline of the arcade game BlazBlue.
Blizzard has announced what the next expansion will be for their popular cross-platform TCG title Hearthstone, and it will be called Journey To Un’Goro. If you are, or were, a player of World of Warcraft, you will already be familiar with the Un’Goro location, which was filled with dinosaurs and other fun furry playful creatures out to kill you.
While we are covering GDC 2017, Mobile World Congress 2017 in currently underway at the same time over in Barcelona, and for some reason Niantic Labs is there talking about future plans of Pokemon GO. These plans include three, already planned, big updates.
Today during GDC 2017 Google went over a couple of new features that will be beneficial for both developers and consumers when using Google Play. The most obvious change, which will be visible in each Google Play listing, is a strikethrough price when an application or game goes on sale. This is in order to make it more obvious to consumers when a game or app is on sale, instead of having to rely on a developer posting it in the game’s description. There will also be a little note that sale when the sale will be ending.
Just over 80 new 2nd generation Pokemon, along with some other goodies, were datamined out of the game files once again and previewed to the public yesterday. However, just after news of that broke out, Niantic Labs pushed out an update making those 80 new Pokemon (from the Johto region) available for players.
