Well it is about that time again. We are looking for a couple more writers and anyone else who would like to contribute anything to Droid Gamers. If you like games and gaming on your Android phone, why not write about it whether it is a review of a game or perhaps general gaming news in regards to Android? Read on for more details..
We are putting the call out again for writers and anyone else who would like to contribute something to Droid Gamers. We have been growing at an incredible rate with some of our stories featured on prominent Android sites, gaming sites and general technology sites including CNet, PC Magazine and more!
Enjoy Android games and gaming? Well why not write or contribute to the only dedicated site for Android games and gaming news! You’ll join a small tight team of people who enjoy the Android platform and all it has to offer in regards to gaming. No experience is needed although it always helps. If you applied the first time, feel free to apply again! We will consider everyone equally.
Of course you are wondering what is in it for you right?
Here is what you will get:
- Games to review sent right to us from the developers
- Products to test out like the Game Gripper
- Profile that is posted in each article with a link to your site/twitter account. All links to sites are dofollow links (if that matters to you)
- Creative outlet to talk about games and gaming for Android
- You’ll be part of a great team on the only site dedicated to Android gaming
- Down the road these positions will eventually turn into full paid positions
- Currently working on some form of compensation whether ad revenue sharing or per article payment (working on those details still)
What we are looking for:
- A Weekend warrior. Someone who can write a couple of articles/reviews over the weekend.
- 1-2 writers to write articles/reviews during the week (daytime or night, either or both is good. If more then 1-2 writers fit the bill we have no problems bringing more people on. This is just a minimum number).
- Anything else! If you think you’ve got something to offer, apply and let us know what that is! Weekly comic strips? Funny Editorials? Whatever works as long as it’s about Android gaming in some form or another.
Experience (preferred but not needed):
- Joomla CMS experience
- Writing experience
- Ability to hunt for gaming news relating to Android
- Minor HTML experience
- Access to paid applications (really beneficial but not mandatory)
What you need:
- An Android phone
- Passion for games and gaming on Android
- Passion for Android in general
We only focus on original content 90% of the time with the remaining 10% being general gaming information when regarding Android that is posted elsewhere if it’s relevant. We pride ourselves on being the first to break gaming news whether it’s a new game release, a new product or Android gaming news (example: Zeemote for Android, Game Gripper, Tetris DMCA notice, etc etc).
