Not too long ago we here at Droid Gamers reviewed the game Time Chaos by OrangePixel. Time Chaos is a little retro side-scrolling game where you shoot the enemies and collect power-ups. What started as a small free game has turned into a much larger game with the update that was released today on the Android market.
If you haven’t read our review of this great little retro styled game here is the rundown. In Time Chaos you control your little guy by tilting your phone side to side and jumping is done by tapping the screen. Shooting your gun is automatic so you don’t have to worry about that. With old school graphics and music along with easy-to-pick-up gameplay, this is quite the entertaining little game. Well it’s not so little anymore.
New Features:
- More levels (3 Missions with 4 areas per mission)
- New Grenade launcher weapon (automatically shoots when you jump)
- More crazy enemies
- More old school chiptunes and sounds effects
- More power-ups
While this game continues to grow in both popularity and in size, one would think that the original would stay free and they would release this as a paid game. However, OrangePixel decided to just keep it a free game so if you haven’t tried it, now is definitely a good time to do so. If you already have it, hurry up and update it to enjoy a much bigger game.
