Reckless Racing server update complete – back on the Android Market

Here is a little update regarding the pirating issue with recently released Reckless Racing (say that 10 times as fast as possible). According to a post on Polarbit’s website, the server update was completed and seems to have worked regarding pirated copies of Reckless Racing causing server problems with getting data from the servers to the game.

While across the board the update seems to have done the trick, some users are still experiencing some issues. In their official statement, Polarbit also comments on this:

The server upgrade seems to have done the trick, and the majority of users have now been able to get the data. There still seem to be a few users, Droid X owner primarily, experiencing issues. We’re hard at work on this and should have an updated version out within the coming few days.

There are still issues with the licensing servers, which are preventing some of you from getting past the title screen. While the core of this issue is out of our hands, we are working on alleviating the problem as much as is in our power. We will increase the time a license verification is cached and decrease the number of times the license is checked. We will also replace the default error message with something a little more informative. This will also be included in the next update.

Sorry people with pirated copies, you’ll just have to enjoy the outdated version you now have until you decide to buy it. If you haven’t had a chance to get this game before it was pulled off the Android Market well now you can! It’s a great racing game. Unfortunately, Polarbit’s recent statement was lacking in the middle finger department so to make up for it, we decided to post their original statement’s image again. Cheers.
