Sick of waiting for Plants vs Zombies? Play Leave Devil Alone for now instead

It is no secret that PopCap has been late to release anything for Android even though they were one of the first to mention Android support when Flash was announced. However, you can still get your Plants vs Zombies fix thatnks to developers Gzorz with their game, Leave Devil Alone, which is a top quality clone of the popular PopCap game.

Graphically, Leave Devil Alone bares little to no resemblance of Plants vs Zombies as it sports all kinds of monsters for you to use to defend yourself against pissed off townsfolk. This sort of game is like a cartoon-ish tower defense game where you place your monsters on the field and try to stop waves of angry people from killing you.

Features:

  • Gameplay just like Plants vs Zombies
  • Great quality graphics
  • Touch screen controls
  • Lots of monsters to use along with spells
  • High resolution phones only

Between the monsters you have at your disposal and the spells you end up earning, you can create some serious havoc for the angry people who want to gut you. Unfortunately, there are a lot of them and the further you progress into the game, the harder it gets to keep them at bay.

While it does have some issues like the translation into English is a bit rough, it is definitely a good way to get your Plants vs Zombie fix on your Android phone. PopCap has announced recently that Peggle and Plants vs Zombies will be released very soon onto the Android market (early 2011). Until then, this is a good replacement.

You can pick this up off the Android Market for $4.99 or you can grab the lite version to try out for free. You can also buy the full version through the lite version using PayPal.
