Isoball – Isometric 3D puzzle game by Zattikka now available

If you like pixel art or puzzle games where you have to construct paths or objects to solve each level, then you’ll want to check out Isoball by Zattikka. Released yesterday onto the Android Market, Isoball is an isometric 3D puzzke game where you have to build a path using blocks to get the ball to roll from where it is resting, into the hole on each stage.

Using the touch screen controls, you have to use the blocks provided in each level to build a pathway for the ball in each stage to roll along and fall into the hole. Each stage gets progressively more difficult and to top it off, you are racing against the clock each stage!

Features:

  • 50 levels plus 10 ‘sandbox’ levels
  • Great 3D isometric graphics in the pixel art style
  • Easy touch screen controls

Originally Isoball, along with Isoball 2 and Isoball 3, were browser-based flash games. Zattikka decided to port them over to mobile and have done a great job doing so.

“With the success of Isoball 2, we saw an opportunity to bring this fantastic puzzle game to a new platform and delight a whole new audience of players,” said Producer Robin Clarke. “We’ve worked closely with the developers to create an intuitive touch interface, and have succeeded in capturing the essential gameplay that made the web version such a big hit.”

You can pick up Isoball off the Android Market right now for $3.94. There is no Lite version to try out. Feel free to check out the full press release below!

Zattikka Announces Isoball

An addictive isometric 3D puzzle game for the iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch and Android devices

London, 7th December, 2010 – Zattikka is proud to announce the launch of Isoball, an addictive 3D puzzle game now available for iPhone and iPod Touch, iPad and Android.

Based on the popular trilogy of free Flash games, played by millions the world over, Isoball challenges players to build a track with the blocks provided that will allow the ball to roll safely to the hole.

Over the course of 50 levels, more advanced blocks are introduced (including conveyor belts, teleports and bridges) requiring more ingenious solutions. An additional ten ‘sandbox’ levels are unlocked during play, where the rules are relaxed and players can indulge in freeform building.

To provide a taste of the full game, a free ‘Lite’ version is available for the iPhone/iPod Touch (Isoball Lite) and the iPad (Isoball HD Lite), featuring 10 levels from the full game and local high-score saving.
